Mnova Becomes Officially Part of the SciY Offering

Over the past years, Mestrelab Research S.L.U. has been quietly evolving inside the SciY ecosystem. Now, that journey is complete. Mestrelab is unifying under the SciY brand, and SciY becomes the organization providing Mnova going forward.

What does this mean for users?

The essentials stay exactly as they are.

Your software works the same. Your licenses remain valid. Your support team does not change. The scientists and developers behind Mnova continue their work with the same focus on NMR, LC/GC‑MS and optical spectroscopy. Nothing about your daily workflows is disrupted.

What does change is the environment around Mnova.

By becoming part of the SciY Digitalization Suite, Mnova sits closer to data platforms, automation layers and FAIR‑aligned digital environments that help labs reduce friction. Scientists gain the option to connect Mnova to broader, vendor‑agnostic workflows across research, development and manufacturing, only when it makes sense for them.

This transition arrives at the same time as a major product milestone: Mnova 17, now released within the SciY brand. The new version brings a refreshed user experience, smoother analysis flows and expanded scripting capabilities. It also introduces important improvements across NMR, NMRPredict, MSChrom, Dynamics, DB/DB Server and Gears. Each enhancement reflects real user feedback and focuses on helping teams interpret data faster, with fewer steps and clearer visualizations.

Mnova 17 also strengthens the foundations many labs rely on: improved performance, modernized UI elements, new interoperability options and more flexible integration into existing data pipelines. The Mestrelab website will remain available for a few months during this transition, but SciY.com is now the central home for product information, updates and the e‑store.
